Sunset Park Master Plan - Gilmore City, Iowa

Coordinating with a trail system developed for the Gilmore City community, the master plan for Sunset Park incorporated a trailhead with original signage and improved circulation both around and within the park. Additional elements included:

• Outdoor classroom and nature play

• Adult outdoor fitness stations

• Rain garden and pollinator prairie

• Art installation locations

To assist with the cost of improvements, JBC provided comprehensive cost estimates and co-assisted with a successful grant application for funds to install the rain garden.
