Service Blake Soccer Complex Master Plan

The City of Edmond, along with the Edmond Soccer Club, engaged with JBC Landscape Architects (JBC) to develop a strategic master plan that helped define objectives to transform Service Blake Soccer Complex into a premier soccer club and tournament venue by incorporating new and improved player and spectator facilities that include:

  • Establishment of a safe, aesthetically pleasing and functional entry sequence along Danforth and into the Complex, vehicular and parking access and pedestrian accessible pathways into and throughout the Complex

  • Playing field renovations of the existing grass surfaces, soils and irrigation system to provide the highest quality sportsfield playing surface while also providing improved site stormwater management within the Complex

  • Quality site amenities including the construction of new concession/restroom building(s), spectator pavilions, shade structures and a functional maintenance facility

  • Creating a safe and equitable complex by enhancing the sportsfield and pedestrian lighting for players and spectators to allow play to safely take place during times of low light.
