Originally from Jordan, Jawan has a background in architecture and graduated with a Master of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University. He is interested in green infrastructure, ecological restoration, and resilient landscape systems. Growing up in an arid environment fostered an appreciation for water resources and the role of design in addressing environmental challenges.
Jawan was recognized as a 2026 Olmsted Scholar by the Landscape Architecture Foundation and received an ASLA Honor Award in recognition of his academic and leadership achievements.
Outside of the office, Jawan is a freediver and wreck diver, experiences that have deepened his connection to aquatic environments and inspired his passion for ecosystem restoration and sustainable design.
