Rachel is a landscape designer with experience on a wide variety of projects. She grew up on a family farm in southwestern Missouri, where her love for nature, the outdoors, and plants in general truly began to ‘take root.’ While in high school, Rachel’s father became wheelchair-bound, making her love for the outdoor realm quickly mix with her creative focus of making a more inclusively designed world. This passion led to her earning a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Kansas State University. Since graduating, Rachel has been creating planting plans, learning about inclusive design, and designing/building beautiful spaces that create lasting impressions.

Outside of JBC, Rachel enjoys spending time with family, friends and her cat children, taking spinning classes, finding the strongest coffee in town, and buying as many plants as possible.
