New York City Football Club Practice Facilities

The New York City Football Club (NYC-FC) of Major League Soccer is training on a pitch designed by Jeffrey L. Bruce & Company. Along with Rafael Viñoly Architects, JBC designed and oversaw construction of pitches for the first team training facilities in Purchase, NY and in Orangeburg, NY. These high-performance sand-based natural turf training tablets serve as the primary training pitches for the first team throughout the MLS season. The pitch has also hosted training sessions for international teams for matches played in the local area.

JBC performed all aspects of the sportsfield design including sub-grade grading, pitch irrigation layout and design, sub-drainage layout and design, finish pitch grading, agronomic design and natural sports turf consulting on this 138,000 square foot pitch and the 138,000 square foot pitch in Purchase, NY.
