In an effort to provide the best possible sports venues for the future of an ever-expanding community, the Blue Valley School District hired JBC to design two new soccer fields for Northwest High School and a new stadium football/soccer field. The stadium field serves as the focus of their District Activity Complex and hosts a high volume of sports activities from local school grades of all levels.

Due to the poor local soils and budget restrictions, JBC employed the use of a shallow profile sand cap field system which is reinforced in all heavy use areas. The hybrid Bermuda grass selected has decreased maintenance costs and extended the wear tolerance and healing characteristics of the field while providing excellent playing surfaces
