Following the natural grass trend in college sports, JBC was commissioned to design the last artificial turf field conversion in the Southeast Conference.

The stadium field and practice fields, designed by JBC, feature a 10" perched-water sand-based rootzone with a vertically stabilized Bermuda grass sod.

The irrigation system features the use of water cannons which allows the field to be watered from the edge, eliminating all equipment from the field surface and enhancing player safety.
