Jeffrey L. Bruce & Company was hired to provide master planning for the Overland Park Arboretum. This 900 acre site, located within a rapidly developing suburb of Kansas City, presented many challenges and opportunities. JBC utilized the charette design process to ensure that all user groups were involved in shaping the vision for the Arboretum. This long-range plan will guide future development of both the active and passive use areas, and ensure that the Overland Park Arboretum becomes the premier Arboretum in eastern Kansas.
