JBC is working with Peter Lindsay Schaudt Landscape Architecture in the renovation of this historic section of the Midway Pliasance near downtown Chicago.

Scheduled for completion in the fall of 2001, the new plaza is designed to function as a pedestrian overflow from the Washington Park fountain and as a viewing space for boulevard traffic along the greenway. Elevated plant beds and a sunken central lawn area are bordered by stone accents and monumentation.

A new irrigation system and booster pump, designed by JBC, will further enhance the appearance and maintenance of the landscape and lawn areas
