The Clarice L. Osborne Memorial Chapel project, located on the main campus of Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, is an English garden on the Chapel grounds, near the campus arboretum. It was Robert Osborne, husband of the late Clarice L. Osborne, who gave Baker the gift that enabled the University to move the chapel, stone-by-stone, from Sproxton, England, where it was originally built and dedicated in 1864. The Chapel is the University's first house of worship and will be utilized as a spiritual center where the campus community can worship, meditate, wed and find camaraderie. Margaret Thatcher dedicated the Chapel on the Baker Campus October 23, 1996.
